The History of the 1st Cavalry Division in World War Two

This softcover book gives a detailed narrative of the entire combat chronicle of the 1st Cavalry Division during World War II, from its time on the border all the way to marching into Tokyo. The book features detailed accounts of numerous awardings of the Silver Star through Medal of Honor and gives limited rosters of men who earned a medal for valor.

This softcover book is one of the most in-depth accounts of the first campaign the 1st Cavalry Division fought in since its inception in 1921: the Admiralty Islands Campaign.

In the Hills of Korea with the 61st Field Artillery Headquarters Battery 1950-1951

This softcover book gives interesting details into the service of MSGT Howard Kenneth Inderdahl, a member of HQ Battery, 61st FA. He includes his personal story plus recollections of his service. There is a limited roster in this book.

This is a roster of all known veterans of the 7th Cavalry Regiment veterans who served in the regiment during the 1st Cavalry Division's tour of duty in Korea during the Korean War. This is an unofficial roster created by the website author and is being updated constantly.

General Orders of the 1st Cavalry Division (1949-1951)

This is a collection of nearly all of the General Orders of the 1st Cavalry Division containing the citations of medals for its time in the Korean War (1950-1952). It contains citations for the Silver Star Medal, Solider's Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Purple Heart.
